Two fronts collide o'er wintry bed
the ******* son they will beget
will fill the hearts of men with dread
for Chaos will be paid his debt

Personified , his arms out-stretched
shall cleave the air and heave the seas
and all before his might shall fetch
as dogs in effort to appease

This ill-begotten scourge of hope
where once was sight of early spring
cares not if mortal man can cope
ours to forbear , what he decrees

All 'neath his reign will know his wrath
the fury of his frozen heart
as 'cross his realm remains no path
all blanked in white , spared not in part

This son of northern lattitude
birthed by Atlantic's tryst with frost
will crush and rend as fits his mood
and we the damned shall pay the cost

No few will cry and shake their fists
at tragedy befallen thus
as now the gods we once would blame
look down and say 'twas you , not us

Pray those whose hands are at the wheel
that yet , in time , this too shall heal

Hay Dr.
Great ending.
Pray those whose hands are at the wheel
that yet , in time , this too shall heal
Enjoyed the read.

Excellent, Dr.Moose! We missed the blizzard here in Philly, we mostly had rain mixed with a little snow. The roads didn't even freeze. We were very fortunate this time. In anticipation of the blizzard that never was, we were let out of work early on Monday...we had the road to ourselves and it was wonderful! Seems most folks took the day off...probably the ones who cause all the accidents...hehehe....well, again, great poem! I really enjoyed it!

Sy , Packrat , Denise ,
I've about had it with the snow and the cold.
We got 26 inches from that storm , and just got another 10 from one on Thursday and Friday . I am not a happy camper, but hopefully the worst is over . Thanks .
Doc
