This is dedicated to Krista on our nine month anniversary, which of course is today. I love you more than anything, precious.

An angel gleaming with heaven’s glow
Crowned in a gleaming halo of tresses
That sets a spark amid the fire
As my hand brushes your locks in caresses

The smile that lies on full lips
Sends my soul to dizzying heights
Fluttering on painted butterfly wings
In eternity’s liquid light

Weariness and tribulations fade
When in my arms you reside
I think of naught but dreams
And rising swell of desire’s tide

Your softly yielding lips I kiss
Tasting of ambrosia and nectar
Consumed I drink from passion’s fount
And sweet moments blur

Feathered touches traverse my skin
Your voice strikes a chord within
That shivers with golden memories
Of past and future that we will win

Thank you my dear, this is definitely lovely! I really enjoyed it as do I appreciate your kindness, compassion, and love. Thank you for everything you've done for me. I love you.

Abe, this is so sweet!! And all the more so because you don't think of yourself as a poet.

Dusk Treader,

Fabulous and tender thoughts you have conveyed here. Very nicely written.

Happy Anniversary!!

Thank you one and all for responding to my little poem. I truly appreciate it.

I'm especially glad you liked it Krista. You're love is a treasure You're a soul bright enough and loving enough to inspire my soul to poetry.
