You're here, only in body,
not in heart. I wish that
I could be, even one little thought in your mind.
Your eyes, they don't see me,
even though you can see.
Your lips, they don't kiss me,
even though we kiss.
How can I explain this love of mine?
It's subtle,
it's wild,
it walks alone in crowded streets.
And in my nights,
when the lights are out and I cry,
I ask myself,
How can I love you so much,
and hate myself for loving you?

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

Could you get just a little more intense here? Ha! Your writing gets better and better...and how is that possible when it started out perfectly. Your style is so different from most and I follow it so effortlessly...as I do your thoughts...in this.

How do you withold
and yet not there
means many things

I have a heart
but is it my own
can I will I ever know

Places on faces

Your words invoke
more

My compliments

walker,

Wonderful writing filled with powerful emotions we can all relate to. Nice work.

There is a strong truth in what you say and it is difficult to give an answer, but I know this feeling you describe so well.

Enjoyed your writing even though the truth hurts reading out how I feel. Thank you for sharing.
