You Are My Challenge you are my challenge one that I shall not defy for I shall take you swiftly while looking you in the eye a most worthy challenge but not a trophy for my shelf for as I take the "you" upon I learn then more of myself for you have made me reach out and embrace yet more to me 'tis no struggle yet to give… yet each day a skirmish to live but for you, I shall enter the fray and seek the challenge of your light for you are the challenge of my day, and I, your sweet reward of night |
