Here, you’ve placed upon me
The colors of the sea
So backwards, I regress
On the floor there is a dress
The sun shed the sea
Like a gown over me
I lay, my ears are roaring
The sun peaks through, adoring
My turn to clothe the sun
A new day has now begun
The moon sits there so cold
The sea is just as old
And to the moon she must abide
For he guides the ocean tide
The sea, discarded gown
The moon could never drown
Neither offers, nor takes the dress
And backwards, I regress
In chaos, before the forming
A sense of warmth, there is swarming
And I was all of these and none
The day of birth has now begun
So many sins yet to confess
And now may I progress
Laying softly upon the beach
With heaven’s bodies there to teach
You and I in this new world
Where chaos finds us hurled
And from heaven we are clothed
Now in union, now betrothed

Your words are very well said. Regress, regress, then progress after confess. Que maravilloso! Your uses of the sun, sea, moon, gown, etc. allow for a subdued approach to attack a scary conflict. In the end all is well. nice
