Today I sat visiting with you for awhile,
I talked about all the things that have
happened since you have been gone.

You listened as you always have.
I was quiet as I heard your words
of wisdom come to me once again,
     like they always have.

I told you how much pain there has been
     since you have been gone,
     how so much has changed
     since you have been gone.

     As the wind blew
     I felt your fingers touch
     my face,
I heard you say be strong,
     do not cry.

     I smiled, said Thank You
     for always being here,
     for always being the one
     I can count on.

     I stood up to leave
     although I wanted to
     stay longer. Thank you for
     the memories I treasure,
I said as a tear fell from my eyes
     and I kissed the flowers
     laying them on your grave
     saying Daddy, I love you....

JLR, thanks so much for taking those extra moments to read.

Sunshine, no matter how far or near, I think they will always hear.

Sven, I couldn't agree more with that. *s*

Sea, oh I'm sorry I made you cry. This day was not sad, but rather more refelctive
and grateful I can still feel the love.

Thanks Ya'll!!

Cerenity, one of the things I think that shall always stay with me is the sound of his voice giving guidance. Thanks. Hugz
