In the Moonlight, Shadows dancing (challenge)

In the moonlight, shadows dancing
against the tavern wall,
and caper in the alleyway
amid the brutal brawl.

Each swing and dip embellished,
as the fighters swagger on,
one leads, the other follows,
and deadly guns are drawn.

Keeping time with fatal screams,
the shadows bend and sway,
to end the waltz on bloody ground
when night fades into day.

Thanks to all of you who replied! I searched for this challenge line and read everybody's version. I cannot begin to compete with the quality that I found! They were lovely!
