the morning hours do not like me--
no, they never have...
the sun in rise makes me cry
for all I've never had
the lover's moon
lowers too soon
comply compliance
drives me mad--
I long for whim
a shed of skin
for just a night
with you be had...

this power that
you have to hurt
I gave to you I know
I wish I could
unsing my songs
undance myself
from off my toes
but that would be
the last of me
returned unto my death
to be remiss
without your kiss--
my tongue believes
she breathes your breath...

Tell me that I live again.
Tell me I am new.
whisper nothing if you must
but hold me now I beg of you
and feel with me,
the pull of sea,
and rising of the tide...
stay with me
and grant release--
be my dawning sun's surprise.

*sigh* ... so many mirrors
so much bittersweet beauty in your precise rhymes

This made me think of when a lover pulls away...and I so desperately want their love but I begin to accept their desire to pull away....and it is never the same...my desires start to die as a began to let go...I don't want to let go but I know that I cannot continue to hold onto someone that is leaving...slowly...one step at a time...but I must take those steps with them...James
