Words Can Be Birds

When the magic of words
Fly like the birds
You must join them in pause
And the world will be yours.

When they fly off the page
Like an actor on stage
Blend with the wend
And join in the end.

When they pluck at your heart
At the end and the start
When they lend to your wile
And cause you to smile.

When they rise in a rainbow
Slow walk in there sew.
Sympathy in measure
And symphony in show.

When they transcend in orbit
The flight of the poet
When they whisper forever
The ending of never.

When they color our goal
With the mist of their soul.

Did you write this with anyone in mind, or just to please the flock? I'm preening...

LOL@kari! Always love your work--leaves me with a smile---and? Heres a little joke from one of my favorite comedians--Steven Wright.

"I learned how to levitate birds, but nobody noticed."

okay, I know...but I like off the wall humor!
(and I don't think there's a connection to my loving your poetry, but...shrug )

Think as you like. *L*

Serenity,
Loved your comments and the joke. It's a good one, thank you.
