I just had epiphany--
Look it up, you'll have one too--
I just caught a glimpse of me
and as I did? I grinned--saw YOU---
each spark of hope, love denied
every STUPID sigh I typed
how weary, I, to drag my fate
too bad. how sad.
I'm one space late.

and are my words for you? You bet.
you're every thought unwritten yet...
every simple rhyme become
paint of palette's rising sun.
Each color in a dream unfold
to watch the teal becoming gold
and every drop of silvered lake
becomes a stream upon my face.

each tear, a-puddled on my cheek
rivulet of songs I speak.

Serenity~
What a lovely piece -

'and are my words for you? You bet.
you're every thought unwritten yet...
every simple rhyme become
paint of palette's rising sun.
Each color in a dream unfold
to watch the teal becoming gold
and every drop of silvered lake
becomes a stream upon my face.'

One space late... In all the years of bemoaning my lousy timing and no-win situations, I never described it as well as those 3 words do... Great work!

Hi Serenity,

Wonderful poetry painted not to late to catch my heart with beauty of your song,

the poem's great, but "never let them see you sweat" honest, hold your head up and
say "you know, the next poem is gonna be
for someone else!

Time to call in the publishers on this one. I am really on my knees here beggin' ya to put together a bunch of pages and have them bound in a leather binding. Your talent needs to find itself on the shelves of some stores real quick my friend. This was a unique read of unmistakable serenity charm. Now don't forget, I want an autographed copy with picture on the cover.

Hey Celeste I can't ever imagine you being one space late...you're way too clever dear girl.....but I can imagine you having many epiphanys as you mull over the forces of life you know...love, justice, wisdom and power God's attributes.... the whole world needs to cultivate those more...but you seem to have a great talent for bringing ones imperfections to the fore and making them a rewarding part of life in a poetic way...very nicely done!...your poet buddy ethome
