A Canvas of Words

Each time I write, I fly a flight,
Into shameless of a kind.
Each time I face a canvas white
It’s a challenge to my mind.

My bristles brush the brash of day
Trying to force a kinship.
I rage within the interplay
Just to link a fellowship

Confront the dragons in his lair
Face their rage, known and unknown.
Daring fire bluster and flare
Well into the blacker zone.

Oft they play among daffodils
Offering me bland fantasy.
Other times its bile and peril
Snorting fear and agony.

But write I must, it spills the brim,
It’s more then wile, more a whim.

Some poems are fun to read and and a pleasure to pick at....little colorful snips here and there can add so much flavor and you've done it. Kinda like picking at a pizza with all the toppings. Thanks for a nice read
