I do want you though I will never know the why you are my knight of promise as the sun dips in the sky I do need you as moon bestows in beam I need you to complete me you're the child of whom I dream I do hear you as you whistle down the wind a stranger much too often though I would call you friend I do love you as the days go wandering on but maybe not as you think I love you as a son One who needs encouragement from the world outside one who needs my comfort ... and a place to hide and know this my foolish one though push me away you'll try I'll need you, love you, want you until the day I die. Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. |

Kethry dear heart, this is utterly one of you best, absolutely perfect. Don't I always say that you can write and dear heart, when you do you produce such wonderful works that I could weep in vexation. (Jealousy is a dreadful thing isn't it! Oh it's okay I'll call it sibling rivalry, there's loads of that with my natural sisters!) Marge, NkedThoughts and Charisma, Thanks and sorry to disappoint you this was not written for my son, it was written for a very good friend who doesn't want me to love him ...so I don't...but I do care about him a great deal hence the reference to the child of my dreams.
