Dawn's Kiss
touches gently my skin
teasing me towards a slow consciousness
A warm brush of
tenderness
Soft ambers upon silken skin

I lay quietly
Slowly fading from dream to today
in the golden silence
of morning

Oh, dreamkeeper, that would have been a wonderful way to be awakened. I awoke to the darkness of morning. Started working on my checking account after the morning comics and crossword puzzle. That's what tied my neck in knots. I've had my walk, it did wonders. But, oops, I just got the mail and it has me thinking again. Oh, my, but really, it was mostly good mail, so there's no need for knots. Think I should get my head examined? Or just hire a masseuse?

Oh, now for the real reason I am replying, I love your poem; it's delightfully woven to express a gentle wakening. Lovely!
