Under the stars upon the wind

0 posted 2001-02-23 05:20 PM

I whisper to you what i think and feel..
all i can hope is that you read and open yourself to feel
To the night sky I may be a dull star
But if ever got close you would my true light.
You may not hear what i say
But read what i write and you may find a point hidden away
It makes no use to speak when nobodys listens
but if you write and maybe in someones eyes your
words will glisten.
strike a chord of feelings in someones heart
or be ignored and feel yours torn apart.
I am voiceless because what can i say that hasn't been heard
But write it down who knows what may occur
So listen with your heart instead of your head
and maybe you can hear what is really being said

I hear what you are saying, and I read between the lines, very thought provoking and powerful words. Thank you for sharing.

Olias.

I love those lines. Voiceless, yes sometimes is hard for others to hear us, even when we speak, we might be voiceless. Wonderfully expressed!

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

Excellent write, Voiceless! Sometimes certain words strike a chord in someone, and who knows what can happen then? Wonderful poem!

everytime I close my eyes, I see your face, I taste you on my lips...

For one without a voice you sure do communicate your message quite well and I too hear you loud and clear. Excellent write and a very wonderful way of expressing the thoughts that sometimes plague us through silent pleading. Loved the read.
