Hidden beyond our field of sight there lies a wond'rous place
To reach it one must always travel by a diff'rent route
Un-guarded there Her Majesty , by virtue of her grace
Awaits to re-define those things that you once thought you knew

No sign-posts guide you to her realm , no map can show the way
But none are needed for it's very easy to be found
This place of shifting boundries that change with each passing day
May be en-visioned only when you're not on solid ground

Your invitation's been engraved with invisible ink
Passenger pidgeons waft it from an un-disclosed address
For only here would it make sense that things once thought extinct
Can re-emerge from history the skies to re-possess

A billion wings aloft eclipse the light of mid-day sun
Once more un-fettered fly as if there were no gravity
Approaching the horizon where such things have just begun
A sojourn of the soul refreshed , as in it's infancy

Count Logic's banished from here by the fabled brothers Grimm
And Reason has been ousted for his crimes against the state
Insanity cast out his twin while acting on a whim
But left are dreams to be fulfilled upon tomorrow's slate

This is the place I visit just as often as I can
For it displays it's grandeur in a constant flux of light
Devoid of all influence of the cold hard facts it stands
Forever cloaked majestic'ly in wonder of first sight

There's no where else I've been as yet where time is better spent
When once again it's all brand new , you've reached " Bewilderment "

Doc, I love your poem, but please keep it under wrap
We wouldn't want our "'Wilderment" to become a tourist trap!

Love this clever one.

Passing shadows,
I'm glad you enjoyed , stop by and visit anytime .
Doc
Claire ,
There's much more room here than there was in " Befuddlement " which was too confined and confusing .I'm so glad you stopped by and I hope ( like you ) the word doesn't spread too fast.

Voiceless,
Thank you , you're going to have to speak up a little though ( Not ) just kidding ! Thanks again ! Doc

catalinamoon ,
This is favorite re-curring theme of mine , that it's not always necessary to change , so much as to change your perspective . Glad you liked .
