Syncopated Brazilia
Virginia Salter

syncopated rhythm
in a rumba feel
toe tappin’
shoulder rappin’
swing ‘n’ sway
your hips away

cheek to cheek
take a peek
one, two, hip, shoe
green grass sky blue
how I wanna
dance with you

sun glints
off cymbal’s chime
rhythm sway
the summer time
Latin lovers
on your feet
shift and roll
the rumba beat

Good, Haleyja, that's what I was going for. The music had be rockin' to the beat and the poem just transpired.

Thanks Voiceless, glad you enjoyed, too.
