"Blue Tempation"

Sitting here as ocean breezes float through my window--
Thoughts of you drift lazily through my mind
Time stands still--as I think over the depth of what we share
Sun setting low as she winks at me through the hues of blue sky

Fantasy is what I want to label this
Chalking it up to the fact that it's the mystery
Though I know it's more than that
Feeling the connection overtake me--I surrender

The beauty of you washing over me
As rain washes over the Earth restoring it
Heavens parting allowing rays of sunbeam
To reach my delicate heart

What ifs linger all around us
Temptation softly sleeping around the corner
And we know--
Yes we know She may wake up at any moment

Though I've never touched you
Late at night, sometimes I feel your skin
Pressing against mine
As our hearts beat in unison to music only we can hear

I sit here wondering
Do you feel what I feel--
Or is just a fantasy, that only exists for me
Then I realize, no it's not...its temptation
Like the stars tempt poets to fall in love
