Country Blued

I'm feeling country blued today
A deeper shade of you.
I reach to send a kiss on winds
They're strong in here, that's true.
I follow movements in my thoughts
Of eyes that rest on mine.
In darkness light will rise a smile
Upon a heart, to shine.
Words that water, flowing sighs
In timid touch of real.
I grace my fingers to my lips
To taste, your warmth of feel.

Cast off my gown of blue this eve
When shimmers glow from moon.
The watered words expressed upon
Reflect, in turn, dark's tune.
In shadows, hope of moment kissed
In silence laced in full,
This void will closet me in feel
Caressed within your pull.
Though country lights in night are few,
The indigo of skies
Delivers you to light my dreams
In sleep, behind closed eyes.

Don't be blue! I never knew Wynter could be so beautiful!

This is great...I love the colours of blue and the beauty of this piece is exceptional!

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.

Very beautiful and inspiring!

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.
