you're there when i need you
to ease my trouble and listen to me
and as everyday passes
i'm beginning to see...

i'm beginning to see who you are
as we become closer, more than just a friend
i don't know where this path will take us
but my broken heart is beginning to mend

no, you're not a rebound
you are much more special than that
i really enjoy your company
that is a simple fact

with your soft laugh and sweet smile
you are slowly winning over my heart
funny to think its only been a few months
when this special friendship got its first start

last night was simply wonderful
i felt free and whole
like when rain comes pouring down
and it cleanses and renews the soul

this morning when i woke
i slowly opened my eyes
and thoughts of you came to my mind
as i simply let out a sigh

Amy this is wonderful, I'm not surprised that you have a wonderful beautiful friend a special friendship that makes you feel as wonderful as your heart is. I've sprinkled you with my fairy dust so you should feel the magic begin.
Very very well written

Amy, it sure does my heart to read these words from you and see you back here!
I know the desire to feel whole, and you are there, young lady!
