Under the stars upon the wind

I stand in a waterfall of stars
The fog rushes in to take what is ours
The keeper of the night plays a haunting tune
The moon glows an erie blue
The planets slowly take their turn
Off in the distance a candle burns
Dreams float in a crystal sky
Drifting to where children lie
Magic flows through the ground
Far away thunder sounds
Shadows creep through the trees
Nothing is what it seems

i really enjoyed this... lots of imagery, succinct, vivid... real...

the last line struck me

"Nothing is what it seems"

mostly because i've said the same thing before... i fluctuate between "nothing is what it seems" and "it's all what it seems"... use both those lines as sort of a theme running through some of my poetry... so anyway, i identified with this... good job on it and thanks for the mirror...

Wow voiceless, I've only read three of your poems and I'm already impressed by you but, I was already impressed from the get-go and you've just furthered it....you're a very talented writer and you have a special gift...please stick with it...I mean your words are sad, beautiful, and powerful at the same time....once again you are a GREAT writer and you're easily my most favorite poet....I can honestly say I'm looking forward to reading more of someone's poetry.....take care!

Nathan
