Tomorrow I will Die

Tomorrow I will die,
And not a Rainbow have I seen.
There has never been a sunset
My eyes have known or gleaned…

Tomorrow I will die,
And not a Red Rose have I breathed.
I’ve never seen a falling star,
For the wishes of my dreams…

Tomorrow I will die,
And not an Ocean have I bathed.
I’ve never found a hidden beach
With treasures from the waves…

Tomorrow I will die,
And not a Celtic song I’ve sung.
I’ve never kissed the Blarney Stone,
Where my ancient Irish begun…

Tomorrow I will die,
And not your lovely lips have kissed.
...
Well, I think I’ll just delay that day,
Until our lips combine in bliss…

very very cool P-man ...
you will already know I love this one...
its kinda like the twin to "Unrequited"(remember)?
(or thats how if effects me anyway)
excellent write with effective use of comparisons, metaphor, and imagery...
all laced with the longing and ache...
and you know how we moths love that ache *S*
very nice Parker-babes

I'm so glad you changed your mind! I know there are a few around here ready to offer that kiss, but maybe, just maybe, once you get one you'll want more and stay even longer.

You know I'm not going to believe that you've never sung a Celtic song Parker! I'm glad you put the day off because, well you know, evey day you're above ground is a plus and you just might get at those beautiful soft lips....well done Parker I enjoyed all those thoughts, all those things yet to do. Good stuff!

Another lovely one, Parker, albeit a tear jerker.

The years to come will out
and bring the joy you seek,
I know this without a doubt
for you are a poet unique.
