"Matters of the Heart" Pretty flame draws me in once more Temptation and desire are sometimes too much Finding myself sitting here at night Longing...wishing...craving for your touch *~* What is this feeling that I feel? That has taken sudden grab at my heart When it comes to matters such at these Seems sometimes I'm not so smart *~* The sheer beauty of who you are Just simply takes my breath away In the middle of mid conversation with you I sometimes forget what I was going to say At times of the day when I least expect it Into my thoughts you come I know the magnitude of this chance I probably should run *~* Though we've never said What is exactly between you and I We both know the answers...to scared to say them And we both know the reasons why *~* The intensity of this connection Is enough to blow the mind sky high When I think of how lovely you are I sit and simply sigh *~* Pretty colors of the rainbow Mixing with sun so sweet and light Few things in my life Have ever felt this right *~* But run I shall not For I do not want to part Guess I'm just a fool With matters of the heart. *~* Amy M.
