The fire is hot, but the ache that you feel,
leaves you cold…
You know love is futile,
and what can’t begin, never ends…
But fate points her finger,
and all on desire depends…

Temptation runs rampid…
You’re out of control in your need…
Your dreams in the night leave you hungry,
with no way to feed…
You’ve come face to face with your longings,
they feel like old friends…
Now choose your direction,
and all on desire depends…

Desire is fire…
That burns deep, and into your soul…
It’s flame licks your senses,
and melts down your tough self-control…
And when you think you’ve got it conquered,
with modern day trends…
Along comes the hunger,
that still on desire,
depends…

Yes...we really do all get burned, but it's a human characteristic to jump back into the fire from the pan!!! OUCH!!!!

Thank you, my friend, and no...not a crystal ball. Just a sense of knowing that comes to me through my ancestors and their gift of gypsy blood!! One's crystal ball can be in one's mind, if you are willing to not just study human nature, but actually observe!!
