Spring in the air

Butterflies, flowers and afternoon tea
That and the sound of the lap of the sea
You in a chair and the scent of the air
I in a glare at the sight of you there.

Those eyes that wink like a butterflies wings
A voice like flowers that airs in the spring
The sip of exotic raspberry tea
All that and more at the edge of the sea.

What could be sweeter or nicer more braw
Then you and your essence, me in rapport
A day in the sun like the warmth of a dream
Listening to rhyme and the scheme of new theme.

I see it in signs the end of the cold
The coming of spring beginning of bold.
The downing of strife the sound of a fife
The show of crocus, beginning new life.

The sign of a dragon shaking his head
A randy dragon that thought he was dead.

Seymour, sounds like some Butterfly is in serious trouble in the heart department. Boy, I hope the flight patterns are in sync.

Mother,
I hope so too, that is the sync of humor.

JM,
I don't know how he did it but Randy got out again and used my computer and I noticed the raspberry concentrate is down quite a bit.
I can see he's been nipping at it. But how can you be mad at him. When I read the poem
I had to laugh myself. WW S

Poeminister,
Thanks for the nice comment.

Sven,
Your right and spring is just around the corner.

Hey Seymour what a beautiful flow this has to it....and the wonderful romance of nature entwined throughout is what makes it sing to me as I read it....love it very much! Always a joy to read the beauty of your work with it's subtle undercurrents.... great stuff !!
