I see a weeping willow tree with drops .. falling off it's branches... like it's crying.

wonder what you see ..... when a tree is gleaming like diamonds... with frost and blinding light. Standing in silence.. frozen in time.

wonder what you see... when a tree is bending in the wind... trying to stay planted.... against.. all odds..

wonder what you see.. when a tree is standing in fall, leaves ... falling one by one.. like being stripped of it's clothing..

Please continue.. I love trees!

Me too! very good!

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.

Redwriter, long time no see...are you requesting us to continue with the write, or are you asking a certain poet to continue on with trees? Just curious, because you started off so well....

Redwriter1 - I also see in my eyes what you see when looking at a tree, majestic but so tender standing there. Thank you for the reply from your heart. I have a friend also, a tree, like yours.

Wonder how it makes the lowly bushes feel.......(sigh)

They are not tall, they never get the "good" birds to nest in them.

Just adornments......that look half dead in winter....... so pathetic..

poor things.

I had to read this, I love trees, "trying to stay planted against all odds"
boy do I know that feelings. Lovely.
