“WILL I EVER”

by
Bill Charles

~~~~
Will I ever see your precious face,
and smile with you,
once again…
Will I ever gaze into your blue eyes,
and kiss your trembling lips,
once again…
Will I ever hear you gently sigh,
and know your warmth,
once again…
Will I ever touch you softly,
and know you intimately,
once again…
Will I ever be with you
once again…,
just once again…
*sigh. They say if you want something bad enough you can find a way to get it. A lovely poem sir.
Bill I think these same thoughts myself many times as angels go away...and leave me alone with my thoughts....James
Great yearning mood in this one Bill I really got the feel of it all the way....take care
The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.
Sharon's right - again... She usually is... Sometimes you've gotta step up and help things along... "Once Again"...
Waft every crest upon your destined sea.
Embrace the Wave of Serendipity,
Lest its elusive arcane ecstasy
Refurl with sail for all eternity.
Poet deVine - well perhaps, but after giving it some thought I believe that you are correct. If one wants it bad enough, a way will be found. Thank you Sharon, a pleasure to see you again.
JamesMichael - wow, Hawaii. Never been there, but thanks for coming all the way here to read my writing. A'hhh yes, I know exactly what you mean, as these angels go away. But I know that there are at least two angels out there. One for you, and one for me.
nakdthoughts - thank you Wynter, and I hope that you are doing well. I have been so busy that I hardly have time to do what I love most, write, and have a chat.
Kethry - My, my, Australia! Now that's far away from Alabama. Thanks for stopping over, for a read, and hope that things are well with you, in Australia.
ethome - thanks for coming by once again. Love to see your comments, as they are always kind and sincere. How's the weather up there? Alabama is basking in sunshine right now. Yahoo!
Nan - A'hhh, you of much wisdom are so right again. And stepping up and helping things along is what I will do. Thanks Nancy.
Bill
I do hope you find your angel and when you do, hang on tight. You write with such tender heart.
