I feel so lonely, Does anyone know I'm here? They all seem to pass me by, No one even bothers to say "hi." My own mother seems to ignore me, am I invisible? did I disappear into thin air? Why doesn't anyone seem to care? I always feel like crying, wait, I felt a tear. My cat knows I'm here, Is it that only he can see me? I'm feeling more lonely by the day, I fear someday I will fade away, if I do, Will anyone notice that I'm gone? or will they all shrug their shoulders, When they find me gone? I wonder if I scream, Will anyone notice me? What if I cry, Maybe if I die. I fear that if everyone thinks that I'm gone, Then I will be gone. There goes my cat, He watched as he passed me by, I began to cry. What if I disappeared? Would anyone care? Would anyone cry? I fear they won't, For what's the point of crying over someone who's gone? Or better yet, Someone who never was. |

Carly, this is so sad, and trust me, I have felt this lonely and invisible many times. You have to have faith that life will get better, (and kitty love is one of the best there is, anyway  )Welcome to Passions. Very nice writing. please try to cheer up. Sandra |

i SEE you!!!i KNOW you're THERE! .... and i also know what it's like to feel invisible..... *sigh* people are around to support others it's just a matter of finding them thanks for this poem it's clearly an honest rendition and here's a (((hug))))  |

Carly, I am so sorry you are feeling alone and invisible. I used to have a cat and when I would cry, he would climb on my lap and lick the tears away. After a few times of his rough tongue on my cheeks, I learned to cry when he was asleep. Lots of hugs, ME |

Second, I am sorry to read that you're feeling like this, but, stay here for a while, and you'll find LOTS of friends who will always notice that you're around and appreciate you!
