Thoughts are racing through my brain
No room left to rest.
Have to keep on moving on
Put me to the test.
Must continue all my tasks,
Must complete them all.
Thoughts are circling faster, faster,
I feel I'm going to fall.
Fall from my heightened state
Of mind racing through the night.
Fall to resting for a while,
But I can't, without a fight.
But the fighter I am facing,
He is so great and strong.
Instead of wanting to fight or run,
I want to go along.
Along with this man, this boy,
Who conquers all my fears,
Who makes me want to stop my thoughts,
Makes me wipe my tears.
Ah, sweet love, who in my life,
Has wreaked a miracle.
My brain, it now is empty,
My heart is surely full.
I don't know why, all my life,
I wasted all that time.
With empty thoughts and processes,
When love, it could be mine.

I can feel the frantic emotional pace in this piece, it moves very swiftly and powerfully to a conclusion. I enjoyed reading it. Thank you for posting.

Regards,
Olias.

Thank you very much for your compliments Olias. I was trying to make it short and sweet while still saying something. Hopefully I succeeded well enough if you liked it!

I really liked this poem, and complement you on its intonation. But I can't help but laugh picturing this guy in my head. Wonderful write!
