on the horizon of a fairytale

Words of love and life and loss…
passion and romance, longing and sorrow…
kisses and touches, feather light, softly sweet

Penned thoughts and feelings
emotions and sentiment
desires and urgencies…
passionate culminations of fervent extremes

Scribed heartache and sleepless nights
broken spirits and soul damaging loss…
the ink that flows from the pen of a poet
are the crimson tears within her heart.

Very nice indeed! the poet truly does travel through all those areas of life with a heart to write about them....whatever the situation the poet spills the truth onto the page....and I like the reference to crimson tears....great way to look at it.....take care

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.

Annie, you have shown much in this piece and mainly that you have the understanding of a poet for sure. Whether they be happy or sad tears, there is no stopping the pen sometimes from pouring it onto a page. Very wonderful work from you on this one.
