inspired by Serenity's "Kaleidoscope"

Prismed in Tomorrow

Thoughts are howling like the wind
in wonderment today.
Yet warm, the breezes tend to blow
with promise on it's way.
Hears the whispers, softly cried,
feels the message wrought.
Lies here in the openness
arrest in nakedthought.
With eyes half closed, the days seem dark
'til moonbeams streak within.
Inner child awaits, in calm
the phasing to begin.
Changes soon, a growing need,
a discipline in being.
Eyes begin to open full,
a kaleidoscope of seeing.
A twist of this, a turn towards right,
shapes of things to come.
A backwards twist, will lock the soul
to pasts that made one numb.
To share in colours, filled with strength
those diamonds, curves and blends,
need only try another turn
to heal, to feel on mend.
If that one doesn't work the will,
others, choiced will find.
A collection of them rests on shelves,
gathering dust of mind.
Brass that shines like pennies, new
and inlaid wooden, pieced,
coloured prisms, skylight viewed,
these eyes implore their feast.
To settle back, relax this day
the silence, beauty reigns.
No myst in eyes to block the sight,
to future, of lessened pains.

this is powerful imagery, Wynter.

I am responding only after one reply this morning...because if I do like I did in the past few days..I have lost all contact with those who are on here at the same time as I... thank you Kathleen huggzz * besides I don't get tons of replies, I could wait a week to get 5 sometimes (if I am lucky *lol)

Thank you for the lovely compliments too...
and I love the line about the backward turn.
It's something I too am being very stubborn about these days...I love this, winter...and sometimes, we've just got to stand our ground. Many HUGS, dear friend. You're doing alright!
