Realised today
I don't have a single friend,
sister or brother,
to talk to mother,
but I can't burden you with this.

Realised I count many
but cannot count on one
to trust, to be gentle
with my heart, yet true -
and strong.

Realise I long to sit
with stars on grass
and touch, not legs or arms
but spirits, to build not harm

Realise I'm alone, not lonely,
surviving, not living,
refusing to blame myself
for not accepting.

I Realise I'm too cold to trust.

Now, I surely have been there. I understand that. Everyone has there time where they just can't trust. I'm still learning bits and pieces of that lesson now.

Hi Mendy,

This is sad, I have felt this also but keep letting those same souls harm whats left, sometimes I wish I could be cold enough so to get away, admire the honesty in this wonderful piece, thank you.

Love, Cerenity

Mendy-

very powerful write. this is just
wonderful, even though very sad. but
i know exactly how you feel...just
remember something, there is always
someone out there who does care. you
just have to trust yourself enough to
trust them. take care hon and i hope
things look up for you. as a wise woman
at this site has told me countless times
one day at a time.

take care.
