desert flower looking for rain

Tempestuous

Tonight the rains come
and flood the yard
with memories
Kneeling, I absorb
you once more
Tilt my face up
to the clouds
and satisfy the
longing for the
taste of you
Recalling the sweet
bliss of love that still
lingers on my lips...
until the next
storm

I love you
