Red wine,-- I’m dancing with a phantom.
How sweet is life! How sweet is life!
Red wine,-- the pleasure came at random
and washed away my grief and strife!

Another glass and tears are sweet now!
Another glass and all seems fine!
Red wine,-- I’m feeling so complete now.
Red wine,-- again... again, she’s mine!

Before my eyes, the world is spinning,
Before my eyes, she stands again!
Red wine,-- my life is just beginning,--
Red wine,-- my grief is at its end!

Wine is the way many people choose to "drown their sorrows," and you have captured that very well. (NO I don't encourage drinking as a way out, just saying it happens.)

Nice work Master!

So very very true. A very good write. Left me with old memories........

To capture and live a moment is truly living

With red wine, I usually get regrets... and I have enough of those sober. *S* I enjoyed the read!
