I scattered dreams
last fall
Seeds upon the ground
Sowed gently into the earth
to rest peacefully
through a winter coldness

And every day is one day closer
to their slow awakening
Nurtured by the sun and time
and hope
held deeply in my heart

And soon
Tender and new
they shall bloom

To capture and live a moment is truly living
