This poem was written about my little girl who's Autistic.

Oh, this little angel
who cuddles into me
asking for a "favorite"
a kiss, or two, or three

Blue eyes twinkle brightly
with giggles in the air
The sweetest little doll
so delicate and fair

Whispering of fairies
that hide within the trees
Oh, this little angel
and the magic that she sees

Dancing with a ribbon
swirling circles through the air
And every shade of gold
is woven in her hair

You kiss goodbye your angel
that you've held onto so long
and you cuddle in my arms
and sing a little song

Nothing stays the same
and I guess you've learned that well
I kiss away your tears
as my heart begins to swell

We rock away the night
just my little girl and I
slowly counting stars
as she learns to say goodbye

To capture and live a moment is truly living

DreamKeeper~
Such a lovely poignancy to this piece.
What a beautiful cuddling you've shared with us.

Isn't it wonderful how these little ones feel in our arms! I wish I could bottle that feeling. This is too beautiful for words. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, ME

Angels decreed in human guise
hold more than one surprise in giving
their teaching shines so brightly
remember Angels care not for time

Nor place or places beyond their
first best truest home they breathe
not as you or I but life HeavenSent
She searching for wings knows more

Than Alexandrias library lost or
the not secret knowledge buried beneath
the paws of that we call the Sphinx
a riddle for humankind only love

For blue eyed Angels who see
naught but truth in immortal
unceasing loves glistening light
Angels say goodnight but Never Goodbye

On this day of love's rejoice
lift thy angel to sing her dance
for we the brutal humans who aspire
to a moment of real love awakening we need

"Time is merely change. It neither enslaves nor determines us. It is instead our opportunity for self-definition"
