I hear your cries
With tears in your eyes
As this mother's heart breaks
And pain in my soul aches

And as you grow
To a new life go
I again say good bye
And again ask ...why

It is hard not to hear the cries and feel the pain of those we care for. I think perhaps all we can do is give them our love to comfort them on their journey. Take care!

I have been another man

not good bye ... but simply giving one time and space to grow ...
as understanding loved ones often must do.
touching sincere poem ME
take care

Never is a mother's love to know the words of good-bye but instead the words of I will be here when you need me and know that I shall shed tears of both happiness and sadness through all you go through in life.  Wonderful little verse here ME....

If you find yourself stranded in a storm
...then reach for my hand and we will play in the puddles together

Mark, this mother hears good bye quite often because of the phone calls. Sometimes I can't wait to get off the phone and others don't want to.  Glad you read and thanks.

Nate, I just wish I didn't always have to accept! I know what you mean, though.

nakdthoughts, my complextion should be great also, but salt water corrodes.

Janet Marie, like before...... I will make it and so will they.

Thanks to all of you,  Hugs,  ME
