I Am Puck When things aren’t going as they should And you want to shout if only you could Nothing has gone right at all in your day And you feel as if you’ve lost your own way That’s when I’ll come and pay a visit to you You shake your head thinking I’m not true But I am Puck that mischievous little sprite Who brings a smile and doesn’t use spite When the coffee is cold when you need hot And you find yourself in a very tricky spot When things look bleak and rather dim And looking around you all seems so grim Then I’ll pop out to brighten up your day I’ll bring some funshine to make you sway Because I am Puck that mischievous elf Who doesn’t like to see smiles on a shelf When all around you are blowing a fuse And you think this race for life you’ll lose When times are hard and you need luck Don’t you worry or fret just call for Puck Then I’ll come and bring you some sun I’ll bring you some joy mixed up with fun Because I am Puck that mischievous imp Who brightens you up when you’re so limp Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
