Somewhere Out There
~*Marge Tindal*~

Somewhere out there
a heart is
quaking
shaking
finally
b re a ki n
g

Listening
I hear the tinkling
sprinkling
of the pieces as they fall
Shattered
scattered
as if it
mattered

I gather
the shards
that fell so
hard
sinking to my knees
I hold them

please
please
no !

they cry

it's no use
turn me loose
let me linger

ever so gently
I gather them
holding
enfolding
them close to my heart

pressing
caressing
a broken spirit
until it can fly again

smiling
as they take wing
soaring even higher
than before

This one brought a tear Marge, and then a smile. Thankyou, I needed to read this tonight. Take care!

I love the fragile tenderness you chose to show in this poem.
Picking up the pieces of a broken heart can hurt, thats for sure. Putting it back together with hope will make it stronger than ever before.

This poem soars... aloft among the rest... Nice one, Marge..

Waft every crest upon your destined sea.
Embrace the Wave of Serendipity,
Lest its elusive arcane ecstasy
Refurl with sail for all eternity.

Thank you ... it's the only heart I have
and it's filled with giving back just a little
of what has been given to me.

Enjoyed your smile a whole bump-a-lot !
And in MY opinion ... can't have too many of you !

SuthernGal~
Oh, hon ... the sound is thunderous -
the tricky part is holding them until
they know they are healed.
Love you, dear lady.

JamesMichael~
Yes, hon ... sometimes that's so true.
Thank you, James, for the read.
