Somewhere Out There ~*Marge Tindal*~ Somewhere out there a heart is quaking shaking finally b re a ki n g Listening I hear the tinkling sprinkling of the pieces as they fall Shattered scattered as if it mattered I gather the shards that fell so hard sinking to my knees I hold them please please no ! they cry it's no use turn me loose let me linger ever so gently I gather them holding enfolding them close to my heart pressing caressing a broken spirit until it can fly again smiling as they take wing soaring even higher than before ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

I love the fragile tenderness you chose to show in this poem. Picking up the pieces of a broken heart can hurt, thats for sure. Putting it back together with hope will make it stronger than ever before. Hugs, Deb |
