Echoes Of Remember

~*Marge Tindal*~

Echoes of remember come resounding
off a Colorado canyon wall
Bouncing me in ecstasy
cascading in recall

Holding on to the hope
of love in it's return
Echoes of remember
how they burn
   burn    burn

The very night we parted
you bellowed across the view
Sweet echoes of remember
I love you

Margie, this is, as always so well penned, and so creative.  The echoes in those two lines are so clever and add to the theme of the empty canyon so perfectly!  The rhyme, the flow and the longing is just right!

Luv ya,

Amazing write, Marge! The arrangement and photo certainly add to the imagery, but you've caught it all in your words.
So much meaning...Love it!

Thank you so very much.
That is the beautiful Black Canyon in Colorado ...
it just seemed to fit my thoughts perfectly !

PoeMinister~
So very, very glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you for letting me know.

LaryALee~
Thanks so much for your reply.
The words came first and then the lovely
graphic seemed to set it off perfectly to me.
Glad to know you enjoyed both.

I really liked this, Marge. I can get two conclusions out it, though.  One bothers me in that it would be too too sad.  So, since the photo's beautiful and the poem as well if I don't take that one route, I'll try to push it aside and bury it.

Curious, though, is there anything biographical to this piece?

Charisma~
Thank you, my loving friend.
You're such a sweetheart.

*Note-
I'm aware that ecstasy is spelled incorrectly in my poem,
but I can't get an edit to correct it to take.
I keep getting thrown out.
So please be aware that I see my own mistakes too.
Arghhhhh !
I'm going to try to correct it from my work station.
