I’m Stupid Valentine About you there’s a touch of romance And I wonder if I should take a chance For maybe you might feel alike for me And we could reach out to loves beauty When I look at you I feel a certain thrill One moment I’m hot then I have a chill My breath catches and I can’t breathe My heart pounds and my breasts heave This all happens when you glance at me Tell me I’m stupid wanting this to be You have a way of speaking only to me That leaves me feeling weak and dizzy I can’t concentrate my mind has gone Everything I do turns out to be wrong Every time I try to put you out me head My heart cries out and my soul feels dead I resolve to stop myself wishing for this Then spend forever burning for your kiss Then my foolish heart skips and flips Tell me I’m idiotic or give me some tips Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
