Fairy tale twinkle ?

twinkle, twinkle little star
I do not wonder where you are
he's in another's arms tonight
when I'm alone, who holds me tight
you go out, say you won't be long
nursery rhyme ask, where's daddy gone
hush little baby, with me your not alone
as old king cole breathes unfamiliar cologne
so, Mary has my little lamb
how do i hold together? with toast and jam?
keeping secrets of so much strife
woven in this fairy tale life
well, now I lay me down to sleep
no more tears for me to weep
someone pass the poison apple please
when i wake up I'll find my keys

Oh ouch!!!!!!   This is really well written.  I love the strength that's woven in it.  It shines through wonderfully, in spite of the painful subject.

You really got my attention here with your weaving of nursery rhymes into a story that is definitely not for children.  It's very creative.  And to make it even better, it flows nicely, too.  A very worthwhile read, overall.

To love another person is to see the face of God.
