When I Listen just like you…. ………just like you….. I have ESP…. magic! ESP thoughts transcending space and time and phases and stages and time just like you…. ……..just like you!….. my thoughts don’t hinge on the thought of me…. but of you because what I see in this transparency is that we are not so different even when we differ in our differences… some are looking some are not some are keeping what they’ve got and I hear the stolid feel the solid know what rocks know who’s the rock I can see who’s watching the clock keeping love on the tick of the tock…. and then in that ESP I sense that fluidity works for me.... lapping over rocks.... bubbling, babbling brooks of delight over precious stones.... and in that fluidity perhaps my words touch what you see in your day that stands in your way that gives you cause to say lead me on…. and on and on and on…. and in my ESP I hear your song, you see… when I listen…. 02.07.01 Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... When I listen I seem to percieve so much more than when I'm the one doing all the talking...I remember my Grandad telling me ..."be a good listener and you will automatically become a good talker, talking common sense to yourself then others." I love your idea here of being able to hear the song of the other person...that's good listening and as you state there that the differences aren't as great as one might imagine, especially if one is a good listener...as usual Karilea I enjoy the creativity of your poetry....ethome Reality seldom bears the possibilities of imagination! |
