Long Distance Love
(written July 13th 00) I was gone at camp, and had to leave my beloved
for 3 weeks of hell.

Distance makes some hearts grow fonder,
while others are inclined to wander.
One knows what the other thinks-
true love floats, and false love sinks.

Loving thoughts make true hearts swell
Upon fond memories the mind does dwell.
A longing look to a picture frame
makes me ache to call your name.

I'll come home to your charms,
to snuggle up in your arms...
to hear your laughter, feel your touch-
and say, "I love you very much!"

"Ya have to kiss a lot of frogs before you meet your prince... just watch out for all the pond scum!!!"

*sigh* this truly expresses the feelings of love and being separated from it. It is good to know you were able to go home to it. Much love and hugs to you from me.

Love I leave with you my friend whether it be in your life or of yet the essense of your dreams.

I enjoyed your treatment of this subject, and do like the conclusion of it.  I like your signature line, too!
