Costumes

Sometimes I feel a bubble in the breeze
Dancing in a forest of please
Showing rainbows in the sun
Having soapsuds of fun.

Just hither and thither as the wind blows
Transparent views in colored throws
Teasing, pleasing, on a stage
Acting coming of age.

It’s a thing comes on me in company
Quirks in my personality
Clowning in the bright of light
Waiting to burst in flight

But the flight has lasted many a day
Each day the start of a new play
I’m tired this caustic gown
Costume and act of clown

I’d rather be in the audience seat
Just clapping my hands and stamping my feet.

Oh....bubbly indeed....thoughts of circuses and magic acts and being little again....I can even smell the popcorn and cotton candy....

THIS....is a keeper!

a wallflower ... thou shall never be ...
thy light shines much too bright ... with gifted golden intensity ...
here thou art ... to ever grace center stage
'tis destined by thy poets pen ... engraving thy name on page

oh ... and Stinky ...
those "quirks" ...
they're what we love most about ya and that randy dandy dragon
and that first verse ...
worth its weight in gold and rainbow confetti

Tomorrow holds only mystery
And who's to say what might be
But in you I've found a love so strong
The sun and the moon look on in jealousy

I'll save you a seat right next to me... but only for your 15 minute break... then back onstage you go! *S* This is great, Seymour!
