when there’s just no reaching
the inconsolable heart,
look to the dawn;
don’t spend lifetimes looking for answers...
turn your eyes to the sky--
there you will find hope abundant.

when the present situation seems insurmountable,
fix your gaze on the heavens...
the wondrous splendor of the stars;
the glistening comfort of the moon...
let the cares of the day diminish
with the setting of the sun.

move with the flow of the gentle spring breeze...
lose yourself in the serenity of this evening.
you see...there’s solace in this night;
in the sound of silence you’ll find release.
let your heart go...it will find its way back to you;
follow the way of the waves...

fly free like seagulls over the water.
sing aloud of your freedom,
and morning will bring
that quiet of heart
you so desire.

Hey..........teacher is proud and issuing a "A+" for this one.  Dang girl....you make a good student of imagery.  Beautiful use of your lessons here and now let's see more.  Maybe in a two line or alternating four line rhyme.  You up to it?  COOL.......

Superb piece of poetry really my friend.  Your growth is showing wonderfully.
