Hey folks... sorry I aint (or should I say aresent?) around too much these days or nights but.. I actually wrote something... thought I'd drop by for a drive by... huggszzzzz all..

oh... the poem:
without further adieu:
really -- nor more messing round:
this is it right here:

When she dances
present stands in stillness
of giant sequoias stretching
from sky eternal
to tender soul

timeless
the dancing hands
of my watch
beat double

when she dances

but I am in
the duration of
the dance baptized
born again
each tick
a sin rolled back

and bathed in
amber tresses
I am not any more
than any man
nor any less
hers, I am
when she dances

When she smiles
the passing years
retire in the solitude
of amber eyes
pervasive, wise
a welcome sight
her smile

When she touches
guileless flesh
turns guilty
knees to knees
to fingertips
on dancing thighs

She speaks and
strains of serenity
spill from amber lips
to eager ears
replenishing my
empty soul

a sigh

a laugh

and hello turns
to valediction again
too soon
but still she dances
in my heart

in my soul
she whispers

in my mind
she smiles

and

so

do I

nice to see you...

amber? hazel?
brown on the surround
of eyelids dreaming,
voices drift
by time
unseaming,
passioned on a single phrase,
poetry is our amaze,
the dance of words
upon a stage.....
a whispering of sighs
lost in the whys
and laughs
and half caraffs
of empty wine.
such is the narrow
on the brink of time's remiss.
to you, no wings can sanctify
the eyes not seen
with hues in blend
of that or this........

(sorry, i rambled... it's just me....  .... your poem is awesome....hope all is well with you.. good to see you again )

When I dance
The glassware rumbles
As I stumble
From place to place
With lack of grace.

When I sing
Neighborhood dogs howl
And my cats yowl
Causing a riot
As they pray for quiet.

What? Your poem wasn't about me? *G* Never mind, then... I won't even tell you it's great. *G* Welcome back, leather feathers. *S*

Wooo!
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered!
One powerful lady, and a lucky man to have been inspired by her!
