Runny Nose Drip
Virginia Salter

Oh there’s such a blessing
in a runny, runny nose;
it comes about in winter, spring
and where a garden grows

Just grab a tissue or a hanky
give the Lord a great big thanky
for there’s nothing in existence
that is better, with consistence

that will make you feel real clever
and free of pressure, no not ever,
near as much as when you sever
self from all within.

Yes nothing on this earth
you’ve met since you were birth’d
whether breech or your head first
that will make you feel so good
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
when you ‘BLOW IT!’

true, I however still dislike the slow wet tickling drip of the nose in the acrctic weather.
