Albert Lee

He’s on the road most of the time
driving for the union dollar,
it’s the only life he understands
my man ain’t no Rhodes Scholar.

He’s kind of fat and darn bald too,
likes to pack a cheek full of chew,
ain’t much to look at, that’s for sure,
but honey, can that man @$#*&!

He’s the ace in my deck of cards,
I like to keep him up my sleeve,
only thing is, it breaks my heart
every time he has to leave.

Ain’t seen him since last Sunday
he was headed for Old Eye-Ninety,
Lord I know, he’s gone for good,
done lost my man to Albert Lee.

Oh Albert Lee, Albert Lee,
why did you go and take my man?
He crashed his rig, down at the Junction,
now he’s lost to the fields of Albert Lee.

The nights are long and lonesome
way down here in Nacogdoches,
can’t find a reason to stay,
so I’ll just say Buenos Noches.

Oh Albert Lee, Albert Lee,
why did you go and take my man?
He crashed his rig, down at the Junction,
now he’s lost to the fields of Albert Lee.

Corinne, are we in a singing mood...
very cool.... now I think with your voice you should be singing it so we can hear..

Thank you, Park, you drive a truck now do ya?
Hmmm.
