"Meant to Be?" The two of them belong to other people Yet there is an unexplainable connection From the first time they "met" She knew her heart needed no protection A special friendship this is indeed One that is amazing and rare She just felt it was time to show how she felt To show just how much she does care Hundreds of thousands of miles seperate them Oceans and mountains galore So how come her heart feels as though it does Like there's something she's suppose to explore How can you be totally in love with one person Yet still feel something for another It's enough to drive a girl crazy Really makes a person wonder So in the words of this poem All she does express For she realizes with an amazing friendship She has been completely blessed Though they can never be together Not in any real sense that is Her mind continues to ponder With a million what ifs These thoughts she shall though lay to rest Finally on paper, she has been set free Knowing in her heart Some things are just meant to be? No matter how many miles or mountains are in the path.....it is never enough to stop a heart of caring on it's destiny. Amy, Hon I love the way you express yourself, this is written beautifully from your heart and well what a beautiful heart you have my dear. Your friend is very lucky to have your friendship and ya know I bet your friend knows that and I am sure your friend too, is thinking "what If" Distance can never stand in the way of caring for a special person, or a rare friendship. Thank you all for your kind and sincere comments. As always you've each touched a place deep within my heart. This was just something I felt I needed to post. The person who its for knows how I feel. My only hope is that things work out as planned...but I'll leave that up to fate.
