my health

fell before me as if on wings made
of glass I thought I would a been happy
they found some answers fast my lady
whispered no matter how hard it
seems to get she’s going to
see me through and
don’t you ever
worry or
forget
to
never
give up when

it all seems bleu our God is just
enough my thoughts began running short
as you faded from my view you looked as soft as
velvet I was feeling a ‘lil blue as I drifted off to surgery
things turned pure as ivory and the warmest hue arose
from every breath which escaped I felt so naked they
had taken all my clothes and my eyes had falling
questions but quickly came to close I told my

self it must be real not knowing if truly
right because it felt like a dream
which trailed across some
ceasing life compelling
and yelling why
is this
my
dream

I don’t know
if I e’er awoke but
I did from the reverie
but surgery is for sure
my Valentines day

reality
.

Ooh, this sends a punch - yet it's pensively written... The aura of 'going under' is so real. Wonderful work!

lucky - excellent lines!  I have a bunch of favorites, among which, of course, is the part about me, but I really love this - "and my eyes had falling questions but quickly came to close" - how do you tell even a horrible story with such beauty!!!

I love you, my sweetheart.

Martie,

I’m alright I think... Dreams are haunting and sometimes to real... Feb 14th. sometime in the afternoon around 3:00pm, is I guess when I’ll be finding out what the surgery reveals. I’m in pain and have gained way to much weight in less than 30 days, my mussels are in shock from the weight... I look like I’m pregnant and am acquiring some stretch marks. How do you women ever deal with such..?

laryalee,

Thank you so much... It seems that I become so much more pensive when something is wrong with me... I tell everyone not to worry when I could be wrong...

Kathleen,

Sometimes the healing begins when we wake up from a bad dream! Man oh man have you got that right... It’s 3:30 am and I’m I’m afraid to sleep for what I may see...

Rosemary

I’m so lucky to love and have you to hold me... my sweet baby bubba

Thank you all for sharing
.

A great expression of your fears *S*

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as your surgery draws near... May you recover rapidly and completely!!

How do you comment on a thought so well constructed except to say honestly - well. well done.

Lucky, my brother, my friend~
With the precious love of that woman of yours,
the faith that you have,
the prayers that are sent your way ...
you'll be waxing poetic long before the anesthesia wears off !

You know I hold you in my heart and offer the great healing power of our forefathers to the doctors.

Love you and love your thoughts in this piece.
I'm with Rosemary in liking -
'my eyes had falling
questions but quickly came to close'

But that nekkid part was intriguing too !
You be good and we'll be talking, bro.
Love n' hugs n' stuff~

suthern,
thanks for your great expression of caring. And I do hope your right about completely..! I’m so tired of pain pills that only hide the pain knowing when they run out I’ll be right back where I began. Thanks for your prayers...

Mendy,
Thank you so much... I’d like to find that quiet and hear that eloquence of silence. Do you know the address..?

Marge Tindal,
Sheesh, now you got me thinking of what I might be saying while in that aneathesia phaze... What a thought... I don’t know if I could call it “Waxing.”

So your with Rosemary on the lines 'my eyes had falling questions but quickly came to close, looks like you two are together on that nekkid thing too... you two are peas that must have come from the same pod'  I think that Florida Sun has burnt your mind, but of course I don’t know what happened to Rosemary’s... Who can tell..? LOL

Love you all, dale

Lucky~
Don't ya' just love this stupid no-bump feature ...

Geeeeez ... a body could hunt all night and not find where a sweet poet responded to the folks that had read him !
Oh, but don't forget ... there's a mile and a half long page up there somewhere to help locate ya' !

Well, you just take care and we'll be in touch.
LOL @ the thought of you 'mumbling' under the effects ...
Now THAT ought to bring back some of those sixties thoughts
real quick !

God be with ya' ... and He is !
